Rome the capital of Italy is an awesome travel destination. The city of Rome just emits culture and history and you can’t help but marvel around the city in totally astonishment. Hundreds of thousands of visitors come to Rome yearly and many keeps on coming back because there are just too many attractions and things to do in just one visit.
What pictures come to mind when you dream of Rome? Maybe it is the Grandiose Coliseums that acted as emcee to the all-fired gladiator showcases of past times, or maybe it’s the large palaces and other old Roman architecture that are scattered around the city.
Rome has a colorful mixture of attractions to fit all flavor, be it sporting or differently, there are several museums that display the lavish history that has given the city a place in the world. Therefore whether you’re searching to explore a museum or the renowned street markets, Rome remains and is still of the most touristy city break destinations in all of Europe, with many capitalizing on the cheap flights to Rome and from Rome so they can explore and get a feel of the old city.
The smallest of the seven hills is the Capitol Hill and is the old spiritual center of the city; here you are able to admire the statue of Marcus Aurelius, on the other square. Leaving the Capitol Hill you will walk on Imperial Fora Street, one of Rome’s most implicative roads, until you reach the symbol of the old roman civilization, which is the Roman Forum. Your next stop in the ancient Rome, is a quick distant away from the Roman Forum, there you will be able to see both the Coliseum, and the Arch of Constantinople, one of the most renowned monuments globally. The real name is Flavian Amphitheater and in the olden times it was the place of several shows with battles between gladiators and animals, it could hold up to forty-five thousand people.
The Monument to VIttorio Emanuele II, Sant’Angelo Castle along the River Tiber, the Altar of the Fatherland and the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, in the Ostiense district; the Pantheon, a temple constructed by Agrippa, devoted to every gods; the Sistine Chapel with the very renowned Michelangelo’s fresco “The last Judgment”; Piazza Navona, is the place where some of Rome and Italy’s most exquisite hotels lies, the famous square has the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi.
The city of Rome has a lot to offer and there is something to suit the tastes and expectations of all who visits there. Rome has Jewish and exotic cuisine, and many different Indian restaurants that also provide dishes, like tandoori and kebab. Rome is powerful and spectacular as the capital of Italy with its gorgeous architecture and culture as it once was in ancient times.
