Dickinson is located along Interstate 94 in the western part of the state, near the beautiful badlands of Theodore Roosevelt National Park (highly recommended - I loved my 2005 hiking trip out there), midway between the Montana State Line and the capital of Bismarck. It's quite a remote area, by almost all definitions - as the hotel description states, "this is the only full service hotel and conference center within 100 miles".

I've stayed at this Days Inn property a few times in my life, and each time I've found it to be a decently comfortable option for exploring the city. It's not right in the center of the downtown core, but right on the edge, and an easy walk to the center. It's right next to Jasper Avenue, where frequent buses depart for the West Edmonton Mall (around 20-30 minutes away). Definitely grab this one while you can, the hotel was recently renovated and the hotel staff know all about the BRG program and don't mind honoring it in the least. The free parking is also a plus.

Here's a great hotel for those travelling to or from Toronto. I had the misfortune of staying here a couple of years ago. The proprietor set incense to burn down every corridor, and on the lobby desk. It smelled horrible! But, they did have a fast and free airport shuttle.
